LG Solicitors are delighted to announce their merger with Lanyon Bowdler. The new firm has incorporated as Lanyon Bowdler LLP, but will trade as Lanyon Bowdler. The partners and staff formerly of LG Solicitors will carry on business as normal at the existing offices in Oswestry.

With 16 partners, and a further 180 staff spread across the organisation's offices in Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Oswestry, Telford and Wellington, clients throughout the county are now able to benefit from the very best practical legal advice, friendly helpful staff, together with easy access to local offices.

Both former firms have extensive pedigrees, LG Solicitors' roots date back to the 18th century and Lanyon Bowdler - formed in 1988 as a result of the merger of J C H Bowdler & Sons of Shrewsbury and Lanyons of Wellington - has a history dating back to the 19th century.

The merger provides a wide range of in depth expertise and an increased geographical spread, with an expansion of several key departments, particularly Commercial Property & Agriculture, Wills & Tax Planning, Family and Residential Property. Oswestry clients will benefit from the merged firm having more specialist experts in the fields of Dispute Resolution and Employment Law, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, as well as Corporate and Commercial Law, all areas where Lanyon Bowdler has a particular strength and reputation.
